1. What does WLA of Georgia do?

Wildlife Action is a private, non-profit, tax exempt (501c3), volunteer organization. We are dedicated to the appreciation and enjoyment of our wildlife heritage through the values of preservation, conservation, education, sportsmanship and fellowship. Wildlife Action of Georgia attempts to raise public awareness of diminishing wildlife habitat, illegal and inconsiderate outdoor activities, to promote the wise useof our natural resources and to educate the sportsman and non-hunter that ouratural resources are for everyone and that the costs and benefits should be shared by all.


2. Are you an animal removal service?

No. Contact your local or state agency for nuisance animal issues.



3. What programs do you offer?

Outdoor Adventure Camps, Guided River Trips, Youth Hunts, Woman in the Woods Programs, Wild Days, Archery Tournaments, Fishing Rodeos, Instructional Camping Trips, Basic Survival Training, Concealed Weapons Permits, Hunter Education Certifications, Skeet and Trap Matches, Cowboy Action, Bird Walks, Owl Prowls, Canoe Clinics, Pig Pickins, Bird House Building, Family Days, Membership Appreciation events, guide services and more!.



4. Do you serve all ages?

Yes we serve all ages, however anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by the parent or guardian member.


5. Can anyone join WLA of Georgia?

All members must be 18 years of age to join. Children (Pioneers) under age 18 must be supervised by an adult WLA member when participating in WLA sponsored activities. Spouses and Pioneers (Children) will be recorded .



6. Would a member of Wild Life Action of Georgia be willing to come and speak to a group to talk about your organization?

YES! Contact your local chapter and set up a time.recorded under the family membership. Members will be accepted regardless of race, creed or sex.



7. Would a member of Wild Life Action of Georgia be willing to come and speak to a group to talk about your organization?

We do a lot of youth centered activities but we serve all ages.
