The Wildlife Action of Georgia is a subsidiary of Wildlife Action, a non-profit organization in wildlife preservation.
Our mission statement is to raise public awareness of diminishing wildlife habitat, illegal and inconsiderate outdoor activities, to promote the wise use of our natural resources
and to educate the sportsman and non-hunter that our natural resources are for everyone and that the costs and benefits should be shared by all.
Wildlife Action was established in 1977 in Mullins, SC by M. Gault Beeson Jr., an Air Force veteran.
In 1986, Beeson received the South Carolina governor's "Take Pride in America" award and in 1995 he received the South Carolina Environmental Awareness Award.
Since 1983, Wildlife Action has grown into a diverse group of men, women, and children who work together for a helpful cause.
The Georgia Resource Education Center (GREC) is located on the banks of Lake Allatoona in Acworth, GA. It gives various groups
the opportunity to be educated and entertained with various activities and facilities. Check out their video tour below!
